Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to lead large industrial and aerospace projects in the Space Coast, FL, area. This role requires a dynamic professional with extensive experience in managing high-value, complex construction projects, including hands-on involvement with field staff, project teams, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate is passionate about construction management and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage large industrial and aerospace projects, including high-bay construction.
- Lead field staff and project teams, ensuring coordination between all stakeholders.
- Develop and execute Lean Construction plans, including Pull Plans.
- Read and interpret complex construction drawings.
- Oversee project buyout, subcontract preparation, and procurement processes.
- Manage and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and material/equipment procurement.
- Utilize Procore and Bluebeam for project documentation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Safety Managers to ensure project success.
- Maintain project schedules using MS Project, tracking progress and addressing delays.
- Ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Must Haves:
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, including 5 years in a senior role.
- Proven expertise in large industrial and aerospace high-bay construction projects.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Construction principles and Pull Plans.
- Demonstrated ability to manage procurement, submittals, and change order processes.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to pass a background check.
