Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Manager, Enterprise Analytics to lead data engineering and analytics initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader who can oversee enterprise data analytics, manage cross-functional relationships, and deliver high-quality analytics solutions to drive data-informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage strategic initiatives aligning with organizational goals.
- Lead and motivate teams responsible for data collection, processing, modeling, analysis, and insights generation.
- Oversee the analytics request process, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and timely deliverables.
- Collaborate directly with executive leadership to implement data-driven decisions and analytics solutions.
- Serve as an advisor to leadership, influencing enterprise-wide analytics strategies.
- Manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure data quality and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Oversee the health and optimization of enterprise analytics tools, platforms, and foundational systems.
- Mentor, train, and support analytics teams and user groups in tools such as Tableau, SQL, and other platforms.
- Promote the utilization of existing analytical products to encourage data-driven decision-making.
- Provide executive-level summaries, reports, and status updates on analytics initiatives.
- Develop quality control standards, ensuring adherence to policies, processes, and best practices.
- Foster professional growth and mentorship opportunities for team members.
- Support onboarding of new data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse Platform.
- Demonstrate accountability for operating budgets, project resources, and timelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science Analytics, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in enterprise data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated success in data engineering and analytics leadership roles.
- Effective time management, collaboration, and team-building skills.
- Expertise in one or more business intelligence tools, database systems, or programming languages:
- Database & Query Languages: SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Vertica
- Visualization Tools: Tableau (preferred), Power BI, Qlik
- Data Prep/Transformation Tools: Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Talend
- Statistical Tools: R, SAS, SPSS
- Data Science Tools: Python, R, DataRobot, Anaconda
Nice to Haves:
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- SQL Server experience.
- Experience with Tableau is a plus.
Location: Houston, TX (On-site role)
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, plus a 10-20% annual bonus.
