Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Pulmonary Medical to join their dedicated team. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients within a Pulmonary Medical unit, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients within the Pulmonary Medical unit. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Provide patient and family education to support understanding of medical conditions and treatment plans. Document all care provided, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed. Nice to Haves : Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current Washington State Registered Nurse License upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association upon hire. Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience with a patient population similar to the Pulmonary Medical unit, or successful completion of the specialty residency offered at the facility. Must Haves : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Strong communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Location Spokane, Washington Salary Base Salary : $86,819 - $160,513 (USD) Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
