Lighting Coordinator
Summary of Position: The Lighting Coordinator is responsible for facilitating lighting needs across campus, maintaining and upgrading existing equipment, and building a culture of continual education for volunteers. This role is a synergy between technology and people. The Lighting Coordinator wins when our volunteers are educated and empowered to operate events and equipment in an environment that is fun, functional, and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support weekly events across campus that may include Anthem High School, Celebrate Recovery, Men’s and Women’s Groups, and future one-off or recurring events.
- Program lighting for Anthem events.
- Operate lighting for Sunday services.
- Maintain equipment across campus for maximum uptime.
- Train and educate volunteers.
- Partner with AVL leads to install and upgrade equipment.
- Actively contribute in all-staff and production team meetings as available.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in live production, from audio, lighting, and video.
- Ability to work well under pressure and troubleshoot technical issues swiftly.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings.
- Passionate about creating an engaging worship experience through media and technology.
- Experience with professional live production systems including GrandMA lighting consoles, HES Hog lighting consoles, ProPresenter, Blackmagic ATEM video switchers, Allen & Heath sound consoles.
- General knowledge in equipment repair and upkeep.
- Proficiency in macOS

Work Schedule and Working Conditions:
- Part-time (approximately 10-15 hours) including evenings and weekends
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors.
- Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and operate equipment at heights above 20 feet.
