Position Overview: We are seeking a Per Diem Clinical Inpatient Dietitian to join our Department of Nutrition . In this role, you will deliver medical nutrition therapy in specialized areas such as critical care, GI, cardiology, renal, and diabetes management. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including dietitians, food service personnel, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and document the nutritional status of patients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor nutrition assessments and care plans.
- Provide patient education and integrate it into care plans.
- Participate in various departmental activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) .
- Prior clinical or hospital experience is preferred.
- 6-12 months of inpatient experience, with familiarity in tube feedings and TPN.
- In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles and their application in healthcare settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
