Job Summary :
The Circulatory RN at Mission Community Hospital is responsible for providing high quality and compassionate care to patients with circulatory disorders. Working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, the Circulatory RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, and vascular disease. This is a full-time, individual contributor role at our facility located in Panorama City, California.

Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough assessments of patients with circulatory disorders, including obtaining medical history, performing physical exams, and evaluating diagnostic test resultsCollaborate with healthcare team to develop individualized care plans for patients, incorporating medical treatment and lifestyle modificationsAdminister medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physiciansMonitor and document patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as neededEducate patients and their families on management of their condition, medication adherence, and risk factor reductionPrepare and assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations and stent placementsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical recordsProvide support and guidance to patients during hospitalization and discharge planningAdhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations and standards of practiceRequirements :
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) licenseMinimum of 2 years of experience in critical care, cardiac, or progressive care nursingCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsBachelor's degree in nursing preferredKnowledge of circulatory disorders, treatment modalities, and medicationsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in electronic medical record documentationAbility to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as neededEEOC Statement :
