Summary: The Sports Events Aide position is a key part of the MCSP team and is responsible for exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include working in the concessions areas as a cashier, facility event setup and breakdown, greet guests as a host, and being part of the custodial team taking out trash, cleaning restrooms and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the sports park.
Requirements
Position Responsibilities:
- *Serves and performs all duties of a Concessions Cashier.
- *Provides exceptional customer service to all guests of the sports park.
- *Follow proper cash handling procedures.
- *Maintain product knowledge.
- *Take customer orders, provides product recommendations, and serve guest concessions products in a prompt manner.
- *Support dietary restrictions, allergies, and special needs of guests.
- Restock product in concessions area and perform minor food preparation.
- *Perform full event preparation to include court and fields area in a timely and efficient manner.
- *Enthusiastically greet and welcome incoming guests as a host.
- *Perform custodial duties to include but not limited to emptying trash, cleaning and restocking restrooms, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facilities.
- *Responsible for providing and maintaining excellent customer service while performing all duties.
- Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis, and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.
- Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.
- Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy is mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience
- Experience in food services and customer service preferred.
- Experience in facility/restroom cleaning and sanitizing preferred.
- License and Credentials
- Reliable transportation
- Food handlers certificate preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
· Must have a “can-do” attitude;
· Ability to serve our guests needs with a high sense of urgency;
· Knowledge of and the ability to operate a cash register/point of sales system while following cash handling guidelines;
· Knowledge of and the ability to clean and sanitize facilities and equipment to Health Department standards;
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with the public;
· Must be able to work in indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions;
· Ability to prepare/serve food and drinks following Health Department Standards;
· Ability and flexibility in working varied shifts;
· Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team;
· Must have good written and verbal skills;
· Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
