The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and increase revenue. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in marketing leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team. This role is responsible for external communications, brand management and customer engagement which includes overseeing digital marketing strategies and MCG's online presence.

Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with MCG's business goals.
  • Drive MCG brand strategy along with co-branded strategies across manufacturing companies
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing initiatives across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the brand guide, ensuring all design elements are consistent and align with the company's branding strategy.
  • Support acquisition brand strategy to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall brand objectives.
  • Strategically plan and coordinate the company's participation in trade shows and industry events, ensuring impactful presence, effective networking opportunities, and alignment with overall marketing and business objectives. Conduct thorough post-event analysis to evaluate success, gather insights, and inform future event strategies.
  • Oversee and edit the MCG brand websites and vendors, ensuring content accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the MCG branding strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, partners, and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
  • Foster and create a collaborative and innovative work environment across all MCG brands.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Establish and track key metrics for success evaluation, such as lead generation, brand visibility, and return on investment.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
  • Oversee the branding of company swag in collaboration with human resources.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.

Required Knowledge / Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Required Skill / Abilities :

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.

  • Work Environment and Physical Demands :

  • FLSA executive and professional positions paid on a salary basis, where project requirements and tight client deadlines may require workweeks over forty (40) hours (including weekends or holidays)
  • This role will work in an office setting, however frequent visits to the production floor are required to oversee operations, ensure compliance and safety standards and engage in staff.
  • Mobility : Ability to move around the manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs.
  • Manual Dexterity : Occasional use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Lifting : Ability to lift and carry items up to twenty-five (25) pounds. All lifting should be done following OSHA standards.
  • Visual and Auditory Requirements : Must be able to see and hear well enough to navigate the plant safely and communicate effectively with team members.
