Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist with at least 5 years of experience managing mission-critical construction projects (or similar large-scale projects). The right candidate will play a key role in coordinating construction activities, reviewing project drawings, and working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and owners to ensure schedules and project milestones are met.
Key Responsibilities
Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Assist in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to align with construction progress.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Support procurement efforts and track material deliveries to maintain project timelines.
Participate in project meetings, providing input and documentation.
Generate weekly progress reports and distribute to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mission-critical construction projects (data centers, industrial facilities, or similar complex environments).
Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, drawings review, and subcontractor coordination.
Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
PMP or PSP certification preferred
