Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist with at least 5 years of experience managing mission-critical construction projects (or similar large-scale projects). The right candidate will play a key role in coordinating construction activities, reviewing project drawings, and working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and owners to ensure schedules and project milestones are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to align with construction progress.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Support procurement efforts and track material deliveries to maintain project timelines.
- Participate in project meetings, providing input and documentation.
- Generate weekly progress reports and distribute to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mission-critical construction projects (data centers, industrial facilities, or similar complex environments).
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, drawings review, and subcontractor coordination.
- Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- PMP or PSP certification preferred
