What are the responsibilities and job description for the Defensive Operations Expert position at Mission Essential?
Mission Essential has an exciting opportunity for a Defensive Operations Expert to join our team at the Kennedy Maritime Analysis Center (KMAC).
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with experience in producing all-source analytical production on foreign naval air, surface, undersea warfare, and naval infantry / amphibious / expeditionary forces and associated operations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the KMAC team in providing quality all-source analysis expertise and operational electronic intelligence (OpELINT) support to Maritime Domain Awareness efforts.
- Conducting research and analysis on foreign civil maritime activities and assets.
- Providing status updates on vessel locations to ONI assigned MDA common intelligence and operational pictures (CIP/COP) applications and databases.
Requirements include:
- At least 3 years of experience as an ELINT specialist and at least 2 years of experience with OPINTEL analysis and identification.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
