Mission Fed’s Financial Advisors provide professional advisory services to Mission Federal Credit Union (Mission Fed) members and Team Members. They prepare and deliver comprehensive financial advice that may include portfolio reviews, asset accumulation strategies, analysis and assessments, pre/post-retirement planning, and asset allocation strategies.

Base Pay/Salary: $68,640.00 annual base salary plus variable pay agreement, car allowance, and company provided cell phone.
The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is $68,640.00 Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

- Works one-on-one with Mission Fed members and employees to develop individually tailored financial plans comprised of personalized investment products and service. Assists clients with the purchase of financial products and services at assigned branch locations of one or more of Mission Fed’s branches. Responsible for scheduling appointments and conducting outbound calling from referrals, reports, and existing book of business.
- Interfaces with mutual fund companies, insurance companies, clearinghouse, Broker/Dealer and Investment Services department for any member/client needs or services.
- Coordinates and conducts approved promotional campaigns specific to the unique needs of the Financial Advisor’s assigned branches. Works with branch employees to train and coach them on their investment related goals.
- Stays up-to-date on market trends, and keeps informed on current and new investment products being made available through the broker dealer.
- Participates in training and development to continually improve and develop skills that help provide the best advice and service for clients.
- Maintains all member/client files and records to comply with the requirements of all FINRA, Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) and State Insurance regulators.
- Prepares all new business for submission to the Investment Services department for processing using standard OSJ procedure. Actively works back-to Rep reports to resolve outstanding items.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in the business industry is required.
- Valid Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are required.
- Valid Life, Health, and Variable Annuity license or ability to obtain license within 3 months of employment.
- Must have a clean CRD/U4 record.
- Must have a current Driver’s License in good standing as driving is a requirement of this position.
- Working knowledge of technology and software planning tools sufficient to analyze and report financial data. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
