JOB DUTIES

Places parts in specified relationship to each other.

Leather preparation regarding cutting and glue application processes.

Buff parts, fastens parts together and package.

Works at different workstations as production needs require.

Assemble products for orders and stock as needed.

Assist in Quality Control in production.

Works on production line where tasks vary as different model of same product moves along line.

Observe all safety regulations and procedures of the facility.

Helps in keeping production area clean and organized.

Other tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of basic CNC function and production machine operation a plus.

Preferred Skills
Must be legally able to and comfortable working around and with firearms.

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

General knowledge in the use of hand tools and shop operations.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must work well with others and have the ability to be a team member.

Ability to accept direction from a peer.
EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). No college degree is required for this position but would be helpful in the advancement opportunity.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to wear protective gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection while on the job.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to use hands to touch & feel, stand, walk reach, balance, stoop, crawl, or crouch.

Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds.

Ability to visually focus and see colors-near and far.

Works a standard weekly schedule of 40 hours with overtime as required.
