Job Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
- Prepare an analysis of management reporting for financial results for assigned functional areas. Provides monthly reports and accompanying schedules analyzing variances in actual results to budget, prior periods and other as required by management.
- Performs balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.
- Prepares and posts journal entries related to assigned functional areas.
- Maintains the fixed asset system to ensure proper recording of new purchases, disposals, and depreciation according to company policies and accounting guidelines.
- Performs cash management functions including monitoring cash transactions and investigating any unusual items. Prepares bank reconciliations and resolves unreconciled items.
- Ensure the company financial information is maintained in compliance with company policies and directives, government regulations, and applicable accounting standards.
