What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead position at Mission Foods?
The Warehouse Lead provides direct supervision for workers involved in loading and unloading of prepared product and raw materials.
· Directs personnel pre instructions and production schedules, bills of lading or other documentation.
· Verifies finished products on a regular basis with inventory control clerk.
· Utilized the SAP system in a proper manner to closing orders and printing invoices.
· Assist ICC with cycle counting in the cooler and check for FIFO.
· Using the loading sheets provided, pull the product from the racks, re-palletize as necessary, stage the load, and load it properly into the truck.
· Performs vehicle maintenance.
· Ensure proper product rotation.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma, GED or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations required. Preferably within a food manufacturing environment. With 2 years in a Lead capacity or 4 years as a Lead in a manufacturing environment required. *Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Computer skills
· Good Math Skills
· Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices, OSHA and AIB
· Able to perform simple analysis.
· Be able to lift, pull and push at least 50 Lbs.
· Be able to walk long distances and to be on his/her feet for long periods of time.
· Able to work in dusty, noisy, hot, cold, and small areas.
· Effectively communicate in Spanish and English preferred
Shift: 3rd (8pm-6:30am) Tuesday – Friday
Starting Hourly Pay: $30.50 OT, 8 Holidays, & Vacation Pay
