About:
Mission Health Lexington is a local nonprofit dedicated to providing free dental, vision, medical, and pharmacy care to our neighbors in need. We are looking for a student with great storytelling abilities to help us craft one short video (2 to 3 minutes) highlighting a volunteer. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to build their portfolio while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with the MHL team to develop the video concept that aligns with our mission and goals. Plan, shoot, and edit one professional-quality video. Conduct interviews with key stakeholders (e.g., staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries). Edit and finalize the video for presentation. Ensure the video aligns with branding and messaging guidelines. Manage project timelines to meet deadlines.
Compensation School Credit: A student can potentially earn three credit hours over the course of one semester. Internship includes stipend of $1,000.
Qualifications: Currently studying film production, media studies, communications, or a related field. Experience in video production, including shooting and editing. Proficiency with video editing software. Strong communication and storytelling skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for nonprofit work and making a social impact is a plus.
