Job Summary and Qualifications

Supervises base clinical staff in conjunction with the Air Medical Director (with the exception of FAA certificate related operational control). Manages an integrated clinical team from an ‘ownership’ (not ‘renter’) mindset and accepts responsibility and accountability for such. Is responsible for daily coordination of the MAMA clinical teams, ensuring that they consistently meet or exceed standard of care. Involved in goal setting, problem solving, leading and communicating to clinical staff. Assists the Clinical management team in development, implementation and enforcement of new and existing standards, to ensure HCA North Carolina division carries out its goals and mission

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum 5 years critical care experience and 3 years flight experience
• Maintains current licensure or certification (RN-NCBON) (Paramedic- National Registry Paramedic and NCOEMS and SCOEMS)
• Specialty certification (CFRN, FP-C, or NPS/ACCS) within 1 year of employment
• Maintain BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and advance provider ITLS or PHTLS
• Maintain 1 of the following ATLS, ATLS audits, ATCN or TPACT (provided course offerings upon hire to complete)

• Must have a valid NC driver’s license
