PARKING AMBASSADOR
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Parking Ambassador at Mission Hills Country Club is responsible for providing a welcoming and seamless arrival experience for members and guests. This role ensures smooth traffic flow, assists with parking, and maintains a high standard of service that reflects the club's prestige and hospitality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guest Services & Hospitality
- Warmly greet members and guests upon arrival.
- Provide directions and information about club facilities and events.
- Offer assistance to guests with mobility needs, ensuring a comfortable experience.
Parking & Traffic Management
- Direct vehicles to available parking spaces to ensure efficiency and organization.
- Monitor parking areas to maintain order and security.
- Assist with traffic flow during peak hours and special events.
- Enforce parking regulations in accordance with club policies.
Coordination & Support
- Communicate, as necessary, with GM, AGM and front-of-house staff to streamline member and guests arrivals and departures.
- Assist with shuttling staff.
- Occasionally, drive a passenger van to shuttle members/guests/staff.
- Report any parking-related issues or safety concerns to management.
- Assist with signage placement or temporary parking adjustments as needed.
- Support other front-of-house staff to enhance the overall member experience.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:
In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined in this position description, employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor. These duties will be within the scope of the employee’s position and will align with the needs of the Club. The assignment of additional tasks ensures operational efficiency and supports the overall goals of the department. Employees are expected to be flexible and adaptable in fulfilling these responsibilities as directed.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
- Minimum age: 16
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Experience in customer service, hospitality or a similar role preferred.
COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Well organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing event needs.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high traffic situations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with prolonged sun exposure.
