Job Description :
The Odyssey Restaurant is seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and repair of our restaurant facilities. Your primary goal will be to create a safe and comfortable environment for our staff and guests. The ideal candidate should have experience in general maintenance tasks, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be proactive in addressing potential issues.
Pay $25- $30 / hour
Key Responsibilities :
Repair and Troubleshooting : Conduct repairs on malfunctioning equipment and systems. Diagnose issues, source and replace parts, and ensure everything is in working order.
Safety Compliance : Ensure the restaurant premises comply with safety regulations and standards. Regularly check fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and other safety features to maintain a secure environment for employees and guests.
Preventive Maintenance : Implement preventive maintenance procedures to prevent breakdowns and prolong the life of equipment. Create a maintenance schedule and keep detailed records of all maintenance activities.
Collaboration : Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance-related concerns and support their operational needs. Collaborate with management to prioritize maintenance tasks.
Inventory Management : Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment inventory. Order necessary supplies and maintain adequate stock levels to ensure prompt repairs and replacements.
Documentation : Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities. Document equipment manuals, warranties, and relevant information for easy reference.
Emergency Response : Be available for emergency maintenance situations and participate in an on-call rotation if required. Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
Communication : Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding maintenance schedules, repairs, and potential issues. Provide regular updates on ongoing maintenance tasks.
