Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
Requirements
- 1 years of RN experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; Master's in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification required; National Certification in area of specialty preferred.
