Key Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services and collaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy, engage in service recovery when necessary, and provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), NIH Stroke Scale, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), STABLE, and Trauma Nursing Core Course certifications must be obtained within specified timeframes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
