Day to day as a Systems Engineer - Expert Level
As an Expert-Level Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will play a vital role in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver exceptional GEOINT solutions across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of activities, including requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and performance assessments, ensuring that projects meet reliability and resiliency standards. Collaborating closely with the Government, you'll advise on system integrations and proposed design changes while capturing and translating mission requirements into actionable solutions. You'll conduct analyses of alternatives, manage trade studies, and provide strategic insights into project management and risk mitigation.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.
- Expert-level experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
- Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.
- Extensive experience with TCPED, NSG and GEOINT products.
- Experience with Sensor programs and subcomponent applications to develop system capability roadmaps for integration.
- Experience in Systems Integration, promoting interoperability, testing, and deploying.
- Experience with GEOINT Data standards.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.

- Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO.
- Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work.
- Previous IC or DoD program/project work.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence to develop system capability roadmaps; experience with Tableau.
