As a Mid-Level Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will engage in a dynamic, multi-discipline approach that encompasses a wide range of responsibilities within the National System of Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) and Allied System of Geospatial Intelligence (ASG). Your role will involve conducting comprehensive requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and test evaluations to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of GEOINT. You will be instrumental in planning and analyzing user requirements, improving existing systems, and assessing cloud service capabilities.
Additionally, you'll assist in translating mission requirements into viable systems and solutions while supporting systems integration, trade studies, and performance engineering initiatives. Required Skills and Experience:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.
- Mid-level working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
- Experience with and understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and Scaled Agile
- Working knowledge of one or more Agile based tools such as Jira and Confluence and data visualization tools such as Tableau
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and
- Working knowledge of Software Development
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or related Agile certification
- INCOSE Associate Systems engineering Professional (ASEP)
- Documented work experience in the field of geospatial
- Membership or active participation in any of the following professional organizations:
- ACSM
- ASCE
- ASPRS
- OGC
- SAREM
- USGIF
- Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO
- Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience
- Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience
- Experience with:
- Project Management software (Project, Primavera)
- Financial tracking software
- Requirements Management software (DOORS Next Gen)
- Data Analytic software (Tableau)
- Architecture software (Cameo)
- Security Engineering Management software (Xacta)
- IT Service Management software (Service Now)
