Mission Mobile Medical is dedicated to partnering with Federally Qualified Health Centers to deliver high-quality healthcare to underserved communities through mobile clinics.  As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) champion of mobile clinic programs, you play a pivotal role in advancing healthcare access and quality for underserved populations. Your responsibilities extend beyond providing direct patient care to include leadership, advocacy, and innovation. The APRN will oversee and coordinate the efforts of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, working collaboratively to ensure the highest standards of patient care and to promote health equity.  

General Tasks:

• Primary Care Services: Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and provide routine primary care to improve patient health outcomes. 

• Patient Assessments: Take medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic tests. 

• Chronic Disease Management: Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. 

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. 

• Administrative Duties: Include but not limited to assisting with opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, scheduling appointments, maintaining a clean environment. 

• Preventive Care: Administer vaccinations, conduct health screenings, and educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyles. 

• Collaboration: Work with other healthcare providers, nurses, and medical assistants to deliver 

comprehensive care. 

• Community Outreach: Participate in outreach activities to raise awareness about the mobile clinic’s 

services and engage with the community. 

• Actively participating in leadership-level planning for best growth opportunities.

• Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role for both Georgia and Florida. 
• Experience with eClinicalWorks EHR preferred 

Work Environment

100% Onsite – APRN is expected to travel to mobile clinic host sites that are in both Georgia and Florida. The brick-and-mortar location is in Fernandina Beach, Florida and the furthest Georgia site is 45-minutes from this site.  

Salary & Benefits

• 80 PTO hours available after first 60 days of service.

• Salary range $90K-$100K, with a progressive growth plan based on performance. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining the final salary.
