Job Summary :
The Digital Marketing Specialist is a hybrid role, seamlessly blending digital marketing expertise with visual communication skills to drive both Mission Mutual's and its clients' online presence and marketing initiatives. This position requires a dynamic individual capable of flexing between strategic digital marketing activities and hands-on design work, serving both internal needs and client projects. You will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies, creating engaging content, managing social media, and analyzing website performance for both Mission Mutual and its client partners. Equally important, you will contribute your design skills to create compelling visuals for a variety of marketing materials, both print and digital, for internal use and client projects. This role demands a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content creation, social media management, and website analytics, combined with the ability to produce effective and visually appealing designs. The ideal candidate is a proactive, data-driven individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for digital engagement, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a mission-oriented environment.
Responsibilities & Duties :
Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various channels, including social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO), and content marketing, for both Mission Mutual and its client partners.
Content Creation & Management : Create engaging and informative content for websites, blogs, social media platforms, email newsletters, and other digital channels for both Mission Mutual and its client partners. This includes writing, editing, and optimizing content for SEO and audience engagement.
Social Media Management : Manage social media presence on platforms like YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and for both Mission Mutual and its client partners. Develop and execute social media strategies, create and schedule posts, engage with followers, and analyze social media performance.
Website Management & Analytics : Maintain and update websites, focusing on user experience, SEO, and conversion optimization, for both Mission Mutual and its client partners. This includes experience with various platforms such as WordPress and Wix. Analyze website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools to improve website performance.
Email Marketing : Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including list management, email design, and performance tracking for both Mission Mutual and its client partners.
Visual Design for Marketing Materials : Design visually compelling and effective marketing materials for both print and digital channels, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, website banners, email templates, infographics, and other assets, for both Mission Mutual and its client partners. This requires a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, branding, and design principles. This responsibility will flex depending on current marketing needs and project timelines.
Market Research & Analysis : Stay abreast of digital marketing trends, competitor activities, and audience behavior to inform strategy and content creation.
Client Communication & Collaboration : Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates, performance reports, and strategy recommendations. Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing goals and ensure projects are aligned with their objectives.
Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing and communication efforts.

Proficient in social media management tools and platforms.
Experience with various website platforms, including WordPress and Wix, and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including both print and digital materials. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) is required.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field or 2-5 years of experience in digital marketing and communications with demonstrable graphic design skills.
