At Mission Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we pride ourselves on the exceptional care we provide for both our residents AND our staff. We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse / Infection Prevention (RN) to join our outstanding and growing team!
Key Responsibilities :
- Clean wounds to eliminate bacteria and debris, reducing the risk of infection.
- Bandage wounds by creating a barrier against microorganisms and changing dressings regularly.
- Collaborate with other patient care team members to determine the need for additional therapies or adjuvant care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on managing and dressing wounds to aid healing following surgery.
- Provide infection and injury prevention and pressure ulcer (bed sore) care education to patients and caregivers.
- Complete forms for patient records and communicate with wound care physicians, primary care physicians, and other members of the care team. What We Offer :
