What you do:
The Environmental Services Manager (Maintenance Manager) manages the performance of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff and ensures that the facility is clean and sanitized for all. They are responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the facilities business goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain current environmental services operation manuals including security, emergency preparedness, preventative maintenance, contractors and manufacturers, warranties, infection control, chemical lists, and Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Maintain budget and purchase departmental supplies for maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry.
- Maintain records of services performed, preventative maintenance completed, disaster drills and in services conducted monthly.
- Oversees and assures OSHA regulations for non-industrial work environment.
- Conduct regular maintenance rounds of the entire building, grounds, and systems to evaluate operational needs.
- Schedule and supervise appropriate inspections and maintenance of all life safety systems, maintain disaster preparedness, contract services for pest control services, waste removal, grounds care and snow removal as needed and more.
What you need:
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Must have three years of experience in comparable position including supervision of staff and administrative responsibility.

Overview:
At XYZ Facility Management, we prioritize excellence in facility maintenance and cleanliness. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance operations to ensure a well-functioning and safe environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance staff in executing daily tasks efficiently.
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, including sanitate, custodial duties, environmental services, and floor care.
- Implement and enforce OSHA regulations and safety protocols within the facility.
- Manage commercial cleaning operations to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Oversee repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensure proper functioning of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and emergency power generators.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, and buffing.
- Valid driver's license required for transportation needs.
