Job Summary:
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will oversee the nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and adherence to facility policies and procedures. You will collaborate with the nursing team to create a safe and nurturing environment for residents.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities, including assigning duties, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Monitor patient care to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and address any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan for each resident.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee medical documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hospital, nursing home, or similar setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of family planning, anatomy, cardiac catheterization, catheter care, and behavioral health.
- Experience in medical documentation and familiarity with catheterization procedures.
