THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2025 SEASON (BEGINNING OF APRIL THROUGH THE END OF OCTOBER)
Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Banquet Server. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay (including excellent tips), housing and employee meals, and other perks. The ideal applicant will have previous experience in food and beverage service, possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Banquet Server, you will fill a key role with an industry-recognized leader in hospitality services. The Banquet Server will provide exceptional food & beverage service to guests at meetings, events, and conferences at Mission Point Resort. This position reports directly to the Banquet Supervisor and Banquet Manager.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Food & Beverage service experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of POS Systems
- Working knowledge of Serving processes and procedures
- Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island seasonally
