Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Hotel Operations Administrative Assistant. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Operations Administrative Assistant is to provide high levels of administrative support to the Operations team, including but not limited to: Director of Operations, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Security, and Retail. Operations work closely with all departments at Mission Point Resort
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
Proactive approach, with exceptional initiative, creativity and problem-solving abilities
Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island seasonally
Excellent communication, both verbal and written
Ability to work as part of a team
Organization, efficiency, multi-tasking, attention to detail
Ability to follow detailed and specific procedures and processes
Must be self-motivated and demonstrate effective time management skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Be an enthusiastic, helpful, and positive member of the team
