Attorney Cyber Data Privacy

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Cyber / Data / Privacy (c / d / p) practice group in Washington, DC , focusing on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations involving privacy and data security matters. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in regulatory investigations or litigation, including consumer protection issues and defending data privacy and security class actions. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior associate to take on a leadership role in an expanding, award-winning practice and work on high-profile cases in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Responsibilities : Lead litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security.Defend data privacy and security class actions, including claims under the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping, and data breaches.Manage significant projects and engage directly with clients.Supervise and mentor junior associates while contributing to the growth of the practice.Collaborate with a team of over 30 attorneys across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia.Qualifications : 6 years of experience in privacy and data security litigation and / or regulatory investigations.Strong background in consumer protection issues and defending class actions.Proven ability to manage cases and lead client relationships.High academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.Tech fluency and the ability to engage with clients on complex matters.Benefits : Salary range : $420,000 (based on experience and location).Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision).Flexible spending accounts (HSA, FSA).Pre-tax commuter benefits.Life insurance, AD&D, and long-term care coverage.Paid vacation (4 weeks / year), sick time (2 weeks / year), and 10 paid holidays.Generous parental leave and fertility benefits.Compensation : $420,000 per year#J-18808-Ljbffr
