Job Description

One of Fortune's Best Places to Work, this leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Attorney with at least seven years of relevant experience. The firm fosters a culture of collaboration, dedication to client service, and mutual respect. The ideal candidate will have substantive experience in advertising law, consumer protection law, and marketing transactions, including :

Drafting and negotiating agreements for ad agencies, influencers, celebrity endorsements, sponsorships, and online media buying
Reviewing ad copy for false advertising, claim substantiation, IP, and right of publicity issues
Counseling on contest and sweepstakes compliance, price advertising, recurring subscription programs, and loyalty / rewards programs

Compensation :

The compensation range for this position is between $295,000 and $420,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Candidate Parameters :

At least seven years of relevant experience in advertising law, marketing transactions, and consumer protection

Excellent academic credentials and legal writing skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively

Experience in a law firm environment preferred, but not required

Experience in false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division dispute work is a plus

Salary : $295,000 - $420,000
