Position Overview :
We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil litigation, including experience with discovery, taking plaintiff depositions, interacting with opposing counsel, and engaging directly with clients. Trial experience is a huge plus!
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle all aspects of civil litigation cases, from inception to resolution
- Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Take depositions of plaintiffs and other key witnesses
- Interact with opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes
- Provide direct client representation and maintain strong client relationships
- Assist with trial preparation and potentially serve as 1st or 2nd chair in trials
