Acts within the guidelines of LPS Statutes and Patients' Rights. Provides crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when needed. Works within the multidisciplinary team and communicates effectively with physicians, nurses and staff.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Must have current valid license as a Registered Nurse, LPT, PST, MFT, or LCSW issued by the State.2. LPS certification preferred or needs to obtain this prior to commencement of employment.3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.4. Minimum two (3) years experience in an Inpatient Psychiatric unit5. Assaultive Behavior Management training within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually.6. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.#LI-JY1
