Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
- Utilize the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- NRP (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- One year experience in an acute care setting with experience in nursery or NICU environment.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
