- responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure
- maintaining sterile field during case
- providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures
- able to work well under stressful and emergency situations
- able to act quickly and accurately
- some assistance in sterile processing may be necessary
- 12 hour days 6 : 15a - 7 : 00pQualificationsEducation and Work Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- graduation from an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience in a surgical setting, preferred
- current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in various surgical specialties (i.e. GYN, Plastics, ENT, Neuro, General, Ortho, Urology and GI)#LI-MP1 Learn More
