This person will manage the entire AP process as well as get involved in a lot of streamlining and transformation. The firm pays extremely well, has great benefits, and lots of room for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full accounts payable (AP) cycle, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze AP reports, monitor key metrics, address overdue invoices, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, and legal) to ensure smooth and accurate payment operations.
- Supervise and mentor a junior team member, guiding their professional development and understanding of firm processes.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Continuously improve AP workflows, leveraging automation tools and technology to boost efficiency and accuracy.
- Allocate expenses to funds according to established allocation policies, collaborating with internal teams.
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities, including accruals, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Manage the fund reimbursement process, including collection, reconciliation, and substantiation of all receivables.
- Cultivate vendor relationships, promptly addressing and resolving discrepancies.
- Review and authorize payments, including wires, ACH transfers, online payments, and checks.
- Oversee employee expense reporting and reimbursement processes.
Requirements:
- 4-9 Years of AP Experience from a Fund
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
