Benefits Specialist

Our client, a globally renowned law firm in Chicago, is seeking a Benefits Enrollment Specialist to join its Human Resources team. This role will support the HR department's initiative to digitize and organize personnel records, ensuring a seamless transition to electronic file management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset. The hiring manager is targeting candidates with 3-5 years of benefits data management from a professional services firm.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage contract worker onboarding requests, including email communications, document revisions, and tracking.
• Scan and file HR documents efficiently in the Firm’s Document Management System, ensuring accurate organization and timely updates.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team, assisting with various tasks to maintain smooth departmental operations.

Requirement:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least three years of experience with digital filing systems or related tasks.
• Strong initiative, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to learn new processes quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
