Our client, an advisory firm in New York, NY, is seeking a Financial Reporting Lead to support their Private Markets Group. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, with a strong background in financial reporting and private markets. This role requires expertise in SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, etc.), agile delivery, digital solutions, and Jira, as well as the ability to collaborate across multiple time zones.
**Candidates MUST have experience working in Private Markets ( Private Equity, Real Assets, Private Credit, etc.)
Responsibilities Include:
- Gather and document business requirements, working closely with product owners, scrum teams, and business users.
- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to define and prioritize features.
- Support the agile development process by ensuring clear communication of business needs.
- Assist in the implementation of digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Utilize Jira to track and manage project progress.
- Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and other regulatory reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work effectively across different time zones to coordinate with global teams.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in a business analyst or financial reporting role within a consulting or investment management firm.
- Experience with private markets is required
- Strong knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, including 10-K, 10-Q, and other regulatory filings.
- Hands-on experience with Jira for managing tasks and workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and manage global collaboration
Salary : $60 - $65
