Our client, a global investment management firm based in New York, NY, is seeking a Data Operations Analyst to join their growing Structured Credit business. This person will be focusing on the Security Master and Fund Master databases within the Fixed Income markets. This individual will have a foundational understanding of bonds, loans, structured products, and a basic knowledge of SQL. This candidate should be passionate about integrating coding into their daily tasks, with the goal of improving efficiency and accuracy in data management processes.
- Additional Responsibilities: Work closely with senior team members and business units to develop and deploy Python/SQL-based processes. This involves curating these processes into routine activities managed by the COE, while maintaining oversight to ensure their successful execution.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of data within the Security Master and Fund Master databases, applying coding skills to automate and streamline data validation and update processes.
- Qualifications:5 years of experience in the Fixed Income markets, with a solid understanding of bonds, loans, and structured products.
- Basic proficiency in SQL and a strong willingness to further develop coding skills, particularly in Python.
- Experience with or knowledge of Refinitiv/Bloomberg Market Data.
- Previous exposure to operational roles within the financial services industry, particularly related to Security Master and Fund Master databases.
Salary : $60 - $70
