HIRING For a Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Shop Helper needed to work in Chain Shop by the Hobby Airport area!
****NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED JUST WILLINGNESS TO LEARN AND SOME MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE******
SHIFT: M-F 8 AM-5 PM
PAY: $16/HR.
Duties for Shop Helper:
- Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to exhibit good written and verbal skills when communicating and completing production documentation.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities with excellent attention to detail
- Work well with others
- Cleaning parts with degreaser and solvents
- Removing burrs and sharp edges on parts using variations of equipment
- Occasional drilling and tapping
- Mopping shop floors as needed
- Must be able to use a hand grinder.
- Forklift exp. is a plus.
- Basic Knowledge of Hand Tools.
- Be able to read a tape measure.
- Be able to work in hot/cold environments
- Be able to learn to use a bander or winder machine
- Requirements
- Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time, lifting, and bending. (Lifting up to 75 lbs)
- Must be able to follow workplace safety procedures and use the personal protective equipment required for the position
- Able to perform job tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions

- Ability to think independently while successfully functioning in a team environment, with a proven track record of contributing toward team goals.
