Our client, the worlds largest alternative asset manager is seeking to add an Investment Operations Associate to their Private Equity team. This individual will collaborate with deal teams, fund counsel, tax advisors, and portfolio company management to support investment transactions, while coordinating with fund accountants on GAAP transaction accounting. They will manage the investment closing and fund sale processes, review capital call and distribution memos, and prepare internal reports for the COO and senior leadership. Additionally, this individual will forecast portfolio company cash flows, ensure compliance with LPAs and fund limits, and oversee fund liquidity, credit lines, and borrowing base requirements. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of previous experience in private equity fund management and private equity fund operations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with deal teams, fund counsel, tax advisors, and portfolio company (PC) management to support investment transactions.
- Oversee the investment closing and fund sale process alongside the deal team, managing fund flows.
- Coordinate and review capital call and distribution documentation.
- Project portfolio company cash flows and assess fund capital call requirements.
- Analyze and interpret Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs).
- Ensure compliance with fund LPA limits and deal certificates.
Requirements:
- 3-8 years of experience in private equity operations
- Previous accounting, private equity fund management and private equity fund operations experience
- BIG 4/Public experience nice to have
