Research Coordinator – Financial Services

A leading investment firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Research Coordinator to join its dynamic team. This individual will provide key administrative, organizational, and strategic support by collaborating closely with the executive assistant team, the Head of Broker Relations and Corporate Access, and portfolio managers. Success in this role requires a high level of professionalism, strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex calendars for analyst meetings and corporate access, serving as a key representative of the business and its portfolio managers.
• Coordinate travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation, while ensuring timely expense processing.
• Schedule investor relations (IR) calls by sector and maintain accurate logging in CorpAxe.
• Track and monitor sell-side corporate access events and conferences, ensuring proper reconciliation of corporate access and broker interactions in the database.
• Build and maintain relationships with the broker sales team to effectively plan and coordinate meetings and calls.
• Collaborate across sectors and provide backup support when needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of administrative experience within the financial services industry.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Proactive approach to managing tasks, anticipating needs, and ensuring follow-through.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with both peers and senior leadership, internally and externally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Workday, Bloomberg, and CorpAxe is a plus but not required.
