What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk Control Manager position at Mission Staffing?
Our client, a global investment management firm based in New York, NY, is seeking a VP of Operational Risk to support the firm’s credit and insurance business. The individual will need to coordinate the execution of risk activities, including RCAs, issue management, and operational risk events, while diligently monitoring the status of KRIs and emerging risks. Additional responsibilities include overseeing control assurance activities as well as managing the remediation of audit, testing, and regulatory findings. This individual will have 8 years of experience in audit, operational risk or enterprise risk within a bank, and has experience overseeing teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
- 8 years’ experience in internal audit, operational risk, or enterprise risk roles within a financial institution.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Need expertise in RCA (Risk Control Assessment), control testing, and the development and management of Key Risk Indicators (COMING FROM BANK)
- SOC 1/SOC2 experience is PLUS
- Experience overseeing teams both domestic and offshore
- MUST have RISK experience
Salary : $70 - $80
