Trading Assistant:
Top credit fund is seeking an Associate to serve as an Trading Assistant for their Global Credit department.
Position Summary:
Associate will serve as a Trading Assistant to the Head Trader. Associate will assist in day-to-day trading activities. Associate will also be expected to assist in month-end pricing, resolve operations issues internally/externally, establish working dialogues with "street" counter parties, assist with compliance requests, and perform ad-hoc requests as needed. Associate should expect to have daily interactions and communication with Analysts and Portfolio Managers, a macro understanding of marketing, and a working knowledge of credit markets.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-4 years of leverage finance experience
• Strong quantitative, analytical and modeling skills (using Excel) required
• Self-Starter; Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills a must
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
