Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Senior Engineer to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement control systems and instrumentation in a national laboratory environment. The Stockpile Experimentation & Operations (SEO) organization is looking for a highly motivated Senior Engineer to collaborate in the design, development, fabrication, and fielding of control systems and embedded systems that support high stakes weapons physics experiments conducted at the JASPER facility.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with engineers and technical staff at the Nevada National Security Site to design and implement industrial control systems and related instrumentation that support dynamic physic experiments.
- Develop and maintain HMI screens and SCADA infrastructure.
- Participate in customer and program meetings as a contributor and as a source of discretion and independent judgment in how principles and methods are elected for and applied to work.
