About the Role
Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) is a leading provider of high-hazard experimentation and incident response capabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls System Engineer to join our team at the Nevada National Security Site.
Job Summary
The selected candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to design and implement control systems and instrumentation in a national laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial control system architectures, communication networks, and protocols for OT/ICS/SCADA/DCS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement industrial control systems and related instrumentation that support dynamic physic experiments.
- Develop and maintain HMI screens and SCADA infrastructure.
- Perform debugging and commissioning of current systems and system design drawings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) required for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering degrees.
- At least 5 years' relevant experience with industrial control system architectures, communication networks, and protocols for OT/ICS/SCADA/DCS systems.
- Experience with Modicon PLCs (Momentum, Quantum, M340, M580, etc.) desired.
