This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Documentation Specialist to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and organizing essential documentation, including systems, programming, and operations manuals. This role plays a key part in ensuring technical and operational procedures are well-documented and accessible to both technical and non-technical personnel.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and maintain documentation such as user manuals, reference guides, operational procedures, and system documentation.
• Maintain and update an internal documentation library, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
• Research and analyze technical information to ensure proper terminology and clarity.
• Translate complex technical data into clear, user-friendly documents for diverse audiences.
• Coordinate special documentation projects and services as needed.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in documentation management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
• Active DoD Secret clearance
