Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a remote position supporting NORAD/NORTHCOM and SPACECOM in Colorado Springs!

HII is looking for a Program Manager in Colorado Springs supporting NORAD/NORTHCOM and SPACECOM. Position is remote but does require meeting with clients and on-site employees at least bi-weekly.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the profit and loss (P and L) of a complex program(s).
• Responsible for providing program management oversight to a single customer requiring coordination of program requirements across planning stages with several subcontractors.
• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Program may be based out of a single location utilizing established technologies requiring standard application to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems.
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
• Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Develops new business or expands services with the customer.
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Directs the work of employees assigned to the program.
• Responsible for client interface as well as coordinating and overseeing the efforts of 5-15 employees.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
• Active military service background required
• Experience working with NORAD/NORTHCOM and SPACECOM required
• PMP required
• Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI

• Masters degree in a related field preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Mod/Sim background is preferred.
