Willamette Veterinary Hospital, located in Corvallis, Oregon, is looking for an experienced veterinarian to join our team! Candidates interested in both general practice and emergency is also a plus!
About our clinic: Willamette Veterinary Hospital is a full-service, AAHA accredited, small animal general practice and 24/7 emergency hospital. Our state-of-the-art hospital is fully equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, Snyder oxygen cage, blood products, therapy laser, and CO2 laser. At WVH, our emergency doctors manage hospitalized cases, outpatient emergencies and have the opportunity to perform a large variety of advanced soft tissue surgeries. Access to an orthopedic surgeon for on-site procedures or referral is available. Comfort with surgery and / or a willingness to learn are a necessary attribute for this role. We have worked hard to build an experienced team that supports collaboration and a healthy work-life balance. Our doctors are well supported with a 4:1 support staff to doctor ratio! We have dedicated ER technicians and ICU technicians, to provide the best patient care and continuity of care. Our ER doctors rotate through a schedule of day, swing, and overnight shifts, averaging 10-12 shifts per month.

Ideal qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience
- Interest and experience in both general practice and surgery a plus!
- Oregon Veterinary License – active and in good standing
- Strong surgical and emergency skills
